Design Digest is both an artistic project and a multidisciplinary collective of young professionals based in Torino, Italy, which possesses an obvious passion for timeless elegance, beauty and craftsmanship. Heavily referencing Calvino’s emblematic quote, their ambition is to create high-quality interactions between art, architecture and design, creating objects with strong aesthetic and cultural value, as a result. In this vein, the collective recently launched its debut jewellery line for 2014, designed by guest designers Sara Simone and Irene Pecchenino

The collection which has been produced in Italy by artisans who collaborate with the group, explores the refined properties and potential of 304 stainless steel - as a fashion accessory material. The first part of the collection, titled ''Architecture,'' uses carefully selected architectural details and delicate lines from architectural drawings to create grids and other shapes that remind of buildings and structural elements.

The second part, titled ''Thin Think,'' pushes the possibilities of stainless steel to its limits by featuring extra thin, modular jewellery that combines the material’s cutting-edge, aggressive look with gentle, flowing lines and light forms. Our favourites are of course the ''Trilogy'' bracelets and rings, which come in a modular set of three that can be combined freely to create interesting geometrical combinations. (Via Yatzer)
